Matthew Carter and Nic Roca, The Cooper Union, New York City, 2019.Smaller Type was founded by Nic Roca. Nic holds a BA in Psychology from Boston University, trained at Portfolio Center in Atlanta for design & art direction, and completed the Type@Cooper Extended Program in Typeface Design at The Cooper Union in New York City.
